Discover a hidden conservation wilderness, a high country playground, an historic station, an exceptional retreat.
Spray Point Station is an historic high country merino station in Marlborough, New Zealand, set on the banks of the River Spray in the Waihopai Valley. Hosts Jenny and Roland Mapp invite you to step ‘Off the Mapp’ and follow in the footsteps of the old musterers from a bygone era. Stay in our lovingly restored Cob Quarters, full of mementoes from the past, or explore the station from our Kiwi bush retreat, Boundary Creek Cabin.
Hike on the Waihopai Walking Track, swim in the crystal clear Spray and Waihopai rivers, explore our conservation wilderness, help with our predator control programme, go bird watching, hunting, fishing, or horse riding… you’ll discover peace, privacy, and rugged natural beauty all year round.
